The funds you contribute will go directly onto our Agave Fund. The Agave Fund is a funding source where all money is stored with the purpose of it being distributed to our mutual recipients, microgrants, as well as purchase of necessary items such as our monthly Canva subscription. We provide receipts for all this. Scroll down to read more!

From Giving Tuesday to donating to someone's mutual aid to small business owners donating items of their own so we can fundraise for our micro-grants - all these actions create everlasting change for our community. Below are some names we would like to shout out as well as two immigrant owned businesses!

Solunita is an immigrant-owned business. Marisol started creating jewelry since 2000 and quilled paper in 2008 then launching her business in 2021. 🌙 Because of her generous jewelry donations Abrir has been able to fundraise funds for mutual aid recipients. We are so thankful to Marisol for all her kindness. Please go discover her beautiful work! 💕
Matiz Clay is an immigrant-owned business. Elizabeth is a mexicana artist who makes handmade, colorful, lightweight, clay earrings. 🌻 Elizabeth's donation of three pair of earrings served Abrir in ensuring we could finally launch our micro-grants initiative at the end of 2024. Please go and support this small business today! 🩷
If you are a small business owner or someone wanting to donate an item or service to Abrir so we can fundraise for our Agave Fund, please get in touch with our Finance Administrator, Diana at abrircoalitionfinance@gmail.com
