The Agave Fund is a funding source where all money is stored with the purpose of it being distributed to our mutual recipients, microgrants, as well as purchase of necessary items such as our monthly Canva subscription. We would like to take this time to express our deep gratitude and love for a couple of folks who have continuously supported our mutual aid efforts or initiatives. From Giving Tuesday to donating to someone's mutual aid to small business owners donating items of their own so we can fundraise for our micro-grants - all these actions create everlasting change for our community. Solunita is an immigrant-owned business. Marisol started creating jewelry since 2000 and quilled paper in 2008 then launching her business in 2021. 🌙 Because of her generous jewelry donations Abrir has been able to fundraise funds for mutual aid recipients. Matiz Clay is an immigrant-owned business. Elizabeth is a mexicana artist who makes handmade, colorful, lightweight, clay earrings. 🌻 Elizabeth's donation of three pair of earrings served Abrir in ensuring we could finally launch our micro-grants initiative at the end of 2024.
